While it is true that the Tribunal is the "sole judge" of all election contests coming under its jurisdiction, our policy is to accord a becoming respect for the decision of the Supreme Court as the highest interpreter of the Constitution and the laws. The Tribunal therefore declines the Protestant's suggestion and Resolve to defer to the above-quoted ruling.
